The 12th chapter out of the book Zechariah relates to the end of this wicked world system. As prophesied in the bible, animosity and hostility toward the Jewish people will escalate to an all time high to the extent her enemies will all gather against her. They’ll try to bring utter destruction on her; however, her enemies are the ones who will bring destruction on themselves because it’s God Himself who will battle on her behalf against them. It will also be a time in which all the nations around the world will know that it’s God Almighty Himself leading the fight on behalf of His chosen people.
If there’s one of the most comforting chapters out of the Word of God that we can turn to in the midst of life’s trials, it would be Psalms 46. To a large degree, bad circumstances in this life are unavoidable. In many cases, you don’t have to invite one upon your life in order for it to come. As God’s children, He hasn’t promised us that He’ll always spare us from every problem that will come our way.
Why the wicked are prospering while the righteous are struggling to even get by? Have you ever asked yourself that puzzling question? It’s quite interesting to realize that most of the wealth in this world is piled up into the hands of the wicked. Have you ever wondered why the work of the Lord is struggling when it comes down to financial resources while the unjust are just wasting their own money on things that are devoid of any eternal significance?
Jesus made such a great declaration about how we should pray to God while teaching on the mount concerning various vital subjects about the kingdom of God in the 7th chapter of the book of Matthew. This passage has actually become one of the most used passages when it comes down to being strategic in our prayer life. So to sum everything up, Christ has told us to be persistent with our prayers. He has given us a threefold process that we should go through: asking, seeking, and knocking. So it all depends on the nature of what we need.
(2 Corinthians 5:17) is the most powerful and summarizing verse out of the Word of God that refers to the total transformation that must occur when someone is in Christ. This life-changing transformation is so critical due the fact that it’s exactly what will prove that a person is truly in Christ.
Love is one of the utmost themes recorded in the Word of God. Christ has commanded us to love each other in the same manner that He has loved us according to (John 15:12). God is in fact the source of love; in other words, He’s love by nature (1 John 4:8). Furthermore, He has shared with us that remarkable love through His only begotten Son Christ Jesus. And He demands us to share that same type of love which is flowing through us to others, so that they may see that we are of Him and know Him.
(Joshua 24:15) can be classified as one of the most decisive and powerful verses in the Word of God regarding whom we’re to choose to serve. It’s a choice that we must make ourselves; and there’s no middle ground either. First of all, we’re made by God Almighty to serve Him alone by committing our lives fully to Him along with His causes. Unfortunately, sin has made its way into the world as a result of men’s disobedience. This has tremendously impacted the whole serving process by producing various types of confusions and erroneous beliefs in people’s lives.
Chapter 118th of the book of Psalms is a great chapter into which David talked a great deal about the steadfastness of God’s love toward those who’re walking in a close relationship with Him. He later declared that His steadfast love endures forever. Sometimes it can be really hard for us to hang unto the idea that God’s love for us is both powerful and eternal when we don’t really feel like it in the midst of trials. Continue reading
This life revolves around goals we have whether they be short term or long term. The point is that if you have no goals, it’s very clear that you’re not moving toward anything of great significance. By the way, your life isn’t that meaningful due to the fact that you don’t really have something that you’re working on in order to improve the overall quality of it in the long run.
God is the source of all truth, purity, holiness, and perfection. So His Word is a direct reflection of whom He is along with how He operates. The Word is the very means through which God reveals Himself, and His ways to mankind. The Word is what gives us some clear insights regarding what’s happening in the unseen world. And it tells us in great details how the world we’re living in came into being by the Word that came out of His mouth. The Word encompasses the visible world, the invisible world, and eternity. So we’re connected to God who dwells in the unseen realm on the basis of the truth found in His Word. His Word is also the very substance that holds every aspect of our lives steady. Continue reading
