It’s quite notable that the Kingdom of God located in the heavenly realm is something that Jesus had a lot to say about during His earthly ministries. He came primarily to reveal it to humanity who was lost in their sins under the pervasive dominion of the kingdom of darkness. The core foundation of His teachings along with His sacrificial death on the cross was centered specifically on making it possible for mankind to enter God’s Kingdom by pulling them by force out of the kingdom of darkness. No matter how great God is, if we don’t know Him personally through an intimate relationship and experience His power and glory in our lives, His greatness would not mean that much to us at all. By the way, His greatness can only be as relevant to us to the extent that we allow Him to unleash it in us. Since His greatness has already been revealed plainly to us, the thing that matters the most is how we choose to respond to it.
The life of man is a huge mystery of God. Many find themselves living while having no idea where their lives came from. They are taking for granted daily the very God-given resources that sustain their lives without acknowledging how great their Creator is. Many try to come up with theory such as evolution in order to explain away how man came into being.
The greatness of God is a divine attribute that is so immense to the extent that we don’t possess the ability to fully express or wrap our minds around His infinite greatness as finite being. So His greatness far exceeds our own intelligence, wisdom, understanding, and words that are very limited by nature. Continue reading
Since the person of Jesus Christ was revealed to mankind 2,000 years ago, there have been lot of deception, confusion, animosity, and hostility against Him at all times, particularly in the area of whom He really is. The growing hostility against Him started shorty after His birth by king Herod up to this point. Satan has always been the very one orchestrating all of these.
As human beings, we are made of three vital elements. These three elements are known as spirit, soul, and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23). Man has two major aspects that define whom he really is. The first one is the spiritual or immaterial aspect, and the second one is the physical or material aspect. Two out of those three elements are spirit, such as both the soul and the human spirit while the body is physical.
There is a seemingly bizarre story recorded in the Bible within the book of Mark chapter 9, which describes a young boy who was possessed by a mute demonic spirit since he was a child. It was a highly dangerous form of demonic possession which had threatened his entire life. Based on the account of that young boy’s father, whenever the boy is seized by that unclean evil spirit, it throws him down in such a violent manner; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid as a consequence. Even worst, that same evil spirit threw him into fire along with water with the intent of destroying him.
The 12th chapter out of the book Zechariah relates to the end of this wicked world system. As prophesied in the bible, animosity and hostility toward the Jewish people will escalate to an all time high to the extent her enemies will all gather against her. They’ll try to bring utter destruction on her; however, her enemies are the ones who will bring destruction on themselves because it’s God Himself who will battle on her behalf against them. It will also be a time in which all the nations around the world will know that it’s God Almighty Himself leading the fight on behalf of His chosen people.
(2 Corinthians 5:17) is the most powerful and summarizing verse out of the Word of God that refers to the total transformation that must occur when someone is in Christ. This life-changing transformation is so critical due the fact that it’s exactly what will prove that a person is truly in Christ.
Love is one of the utmost themes recorded in the Word of God. Christ has commanded us to love each other in the same manner that He has loved us according to (John 15:12). God is in fact the source of love; in other words, He’s love by nature (1 John 4:8). Furthermore, He has shared with us that remarkable love through His only begotten Son Christ Jesus. And He demands us to share that same type of love which is flowing through us to others, so that they may see that we are of Him and know Him.
